Social media content creation, graphic design, and social management

From to January 2018 to September 2021, I was responsible for the company’s social media strategy, management, copy-writing, and content creation for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Vimeo. The company is still using some of our In-design templates for content creation.

Growing the companies Instagram page from 3,000 followers to 30,000 followers, we created a mix of photo, graphic, and video posts that linked viewers to the companies featured articles and videos.

During my time at Tigercat, working with an I was responsible for various graphic design projects. My favourite project, was a memorial piece celebrating the life of W.J. Bates, a leading figure in the Mississippi Logging Industry.

Working with Tigercat, I had the opportunity to visit live forestry sites and interview the owners and operators. These visits involved coordinating site visits with engineers and dealer salesmen and on-site photography, video and aerial footage. Images and video were paired with an article written for Tigercat’s in-house magazine, Between the Branches.

BTB visited Trevor Haywood of Trevor Haywood Timber Co. in Huntingdon, Tennessee to hear how his most recent purchase, a Tigercat LX830D feller buncher equipped with 5185 fixed felling saw, is fitting into the operation.

I have had the opportunity to travel to various areas across the United States to interview members of the logging industry. The interviews were translated to featured articles for Tigercat’s Between the Branches magazine.
